Our Story
Not from perfection, but from surrender.

There was a season where I found myself pouring into everyone else while quietly running on empty. I loved God. I showed up. I prayed. But I also knew what it felt like to be overwhelmed, stretched thin, and in need of a safe space to just be. Not perfect. Not put together. Just real.

And I started realizing I wasn't the only one.

So many women were carrying so much, trying to be strong for their families, trying to keep their faith steady, trying to figure it all out without a place to exhale.

That's where The Mother's Prayer Closet was born. Not from perfection, but from surrender.

What started as a simple desire to gather women in prayer has grown into a faith-based community where women can come as they are and be poured into spiritually, emotionally, and practically.

Because we don't just need encouragement, we need covering, community, and real support.

Monthly virtual Bible studies ("She Speaks Wisdom"), devotionals, prayer gatherings, and scripture-based teachings rooted in real life.

"Heart Talks" and safe-space conversations where you can be real, without judgment, without performance. Just women showing up as they are.

The Mother's Prayer Closet is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting and empowering women and families through spiritual development, emotional wellness, and community outreach. We provide accessible resources such as Bible studies, spiritual support, and transformative gatherings. While also meeting tangible needs through our Mobile Closet, which delivers clothing and essential items directly to families in need.

Our mission is to cultivate safe, supportive spaces where women can heal, grow in their identity, and build stronger, faith-centered homes.

Meet the Founder
Hi, I'm Nautica.

I'm a wife, a mom of three, and a woman who has learned what it means to trust God in every season, especially the hard ones.

I didn't start this because I had everything figured out. I started this because I knew what it felt like to need support and not always know where to find it.

God placed a burden on my heart for women, especially mothers, to have a space where they could be covered in prayer, encouraged in truth, and supported in real, tangible ways.

The Mother's Prayer Closet is more than an organization to me. It's personal. It's my yes to God. It's my heart for women. And it's a reminder that when we come together in faith, lives thoroughly change.
